Bet most of you have already heard about this place and it is really worth
visiting!!!!

Hi everyone,


The plan for the Stirling trip on Saturday 22nd October is as follows....


Schedule:


9.00 - Meet at university main gates.


9.30 - Depart.


10.15 approx - Arrive in Stirling - Group A visits Wallace Monument (optional entrance £4.50)   


                                           - Group B visits Bannockburn.


11.30 - Group A leaves Monument, visits Bannockburn.


         - Group B leaves Bannockburn, visits Monument.


12.45 - Groups leave Monument/Bannockburn.


1pm - Groups meet at Stirling Castle. Walk to city centre for lunch/pub/shopping, etc.


3pm - Groups meet back at Castle, visit Castle. 


4.30 - Leave Stirling.


5.15 approx - Arrive back in Glasgow at uni main gates.


Tickets:


-There are 100 tickets (50 people on each bus) available at £5 per ticket (price covers bus, visit to Stirling Castle and visit to Bannockburn). Entry to the Wallace Monument is optional and costs £4.50 for a student ticket which you can buy on arrival there.


-Sale of tickets will take place at the pub night on Thursday 13th October from 8.30pm (at the table at the back of the pub!)
