The Japanese Society of the University of Glasgow invites all our members to their yearly Sushi party on Sunday 21st November from 7pm-9.30pm in the Garnethill Multicultural centre on 21 Rose Street (just up from the Glasgow Film Theatre).

It’s your chance to try out making sushi for yourself, and eat as much as you can! This year, this is a joint-event with St. Andrews Japanese Society. Twenty students will be coming along from St. Andrews for the event.

Activities planned for the night include a raffle prize draw, wasabi challenge, and a sushi making contest. Prizes for the winners! They are also giving away a £20 Wagamama restaurant voucher for the winner of the fancy dress competition. To enter, all you need to do is come dressed in your favourite Japanese character, anime or real personalities! (Fancy dress for the party is optional) Tickets are limited to 70 so please book your tickets in advance. You can reserve your tickets via email: glasgow_jsoc@hotmail.com

Tickets can be bought from the Library Refreshments room on monday 15 and tuesday 16 between 5-6pm.   In advance tickets are £3/5 member/non member; £4/6 on the door .

ALL INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY MEMBERS GET THE SAME PRICES AS JAPANESE SOCIETY MEMBERS. Just show your membership card when buying your ticket.

Check the website of the Japanese society for future events
