PLAN for the Belfast trip on Friday 25 - Sunday 27 February. We will leave Glasgow at 4:30 pm on Friday 25 and a coach will take us to Stranraer, where we will board the 19:35 ferry, arriving 21:20 to Belfast. Our hostel is about 5/20 min away (bus/walking). Later on, we will go out for a drink and maybe dinner. On Saturday, we will take a coach to see the fantastic Giant's Causeway and the magnificent scenery around there. Late afternoon we'll be back to Belfast to explore the night life and why not... have more drinks! On Sunday morning, we will take a guided tour around Belfast city centre and the "Trouble" areas to see the "murals". In the afternoon we will have free time to basically go around our own in City Centre. Our ferry will leave Belfast at 17:10 back to Stranraer at 18:55. Arriving time to Glasgow would be around 8:30 pm.
.................................................
The price at the moment is 100 pounds sterling, but let me tell you the GOOD NEWS: if we get another 6 people on board, the price will go down to 80 pounds. In fact, if we get 34 people (that is another bunch of 6), as originally planned, THE PRICE WILL GO DOWN TO 75 POUNDS!!!!
Conclusion: if you help us to get more people on this trip, the trip will be cheaper. Plain and simple.

The reason for changes in the price is because we had some disagreement with the tour company, as they wanted to introduce some extra charges for certain parts of the tour, which was not acceptable, so now we are arranging everything by ourselves.

And just to clarify the issue, we, as students, are able to get much better deals on ferry tickets and local tours rather than a travel operator, which is the reason for the price we've got! Did I mention that the final cost is £80?
