Fresh talent is an ambitious initiative that can benefit Scotland and overseas students graduated from an Scottish institution. International students studying in Scotland are being encouraged to extend their stay by Scotland’s First Minister, Jack McConnell.
Thanks to the Scottish Executive’s Fresh Talent initiative making the decision to live and work in Scotland has never been easier.International students who have achieved a degree (Bachelors, Masters or PhD) from a Scottish University can now apply to stay in Scotland for an additional two years after graduation, as can students achieving Higher National Diplomas – without having to apply for a work permit! Sounds good to me.
